Providers along the hearing services continuum of care will share their screening, referring, testing and reporting best practices used to identify and serve Texas newborns and children who are deaf and hard of hearing as early as possible. Providers then will break into groups to discuss how best practices can be incorporated into their office or program protocol.

Texas Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (TEHDI) Regional Summits are intended for providers serving children age 3 and under who are deaf and hard of hearing. Personnel include providers who work in newborn hearing screening programs, licensed birthing centers, public/private school programs, medical home/pediatric practices, as well as outpatient screening providers, audiological diagnostic evaluation providers, and early intervention providers.
