Summer STEM Camp Focuses on Science-Technology-Engineering-Mathematics
This exciting program is hosted by the Educational Resource Center on Deafness at Texas School for the Deaf. It is for Texas deaf and hard of hearing 9th-12th grade students who show a passion and excellence in science and who may consider pursuing a STEM career. Camp activities will include guest lectures from scientists, lab work, field trips and more!

Sunday June 24 - Friday June 29, 2018
$100 fee that covers activity fees, meals and housing at Texas School for the Deaf.
Steps to apply
- Students fill out interest form and fill out teacher information for recommendation. DEADLINE May 11, 2018.
- Interest forms are reviewed and teacher recommendations are obtained by TSD staff.
- Selected students will participate in an in-person or video-conference interviews with camp coordinator, Michelle Halvorsen.
- After interviews are complete, selected students will be notified and will then formally register for the program, sign all permissions, and pay the $100 fee.
